Shall We Play a Game…?

I was chatting with Alison the other day, and we soon realized that we – two geeky girls – shared the same guilty pleasure of enjoying gossip blogs. Since that conversation took place, it has been revealed that Jenneth also shares this affliction. Armed with this secret information, I have decided that I will not only blow the whistle on our guilty pleasure, but find a way to revel in it!
So how can I make it relevant to this site? Easy! We are going to play a game…
The first person that can most correctly identify the devices held in the following stars’ hands will win the recently reviewed RoadWired Pod. To up the ante, Jenneth is donating a Motorola H500 Bluetooth headset!
Where possible I have included links that will show larger or more pictures. 
I honestly don’t expect anyone to get them all right – they are tricky! But if someone does get them all, then I will be incredibly impressed!
I’ll leave this contest open until 3:30 US Central Standard Time on Tuesday October 10th; at that time I will select the winner that has the most correct guesses.

Orion, I was quite surprised by the number of Blackberries, too. I fully expected to see a lot more of the brands that have recently had splashy events with lots of give-away schwag…

If it is any consolation, Katie’s device gave Jenneth and me fits! eric is the newly crowned king of phones – he knew it immediately.

I thought that Katie Holmes has the A1200 too, but it’s sold only in china and it has chrome grips, not black.

I see that the A1200 has the chrome sides, but sometimes if chrome is tilted and the light hits it just the right way, it can appear black.
But I’m still not convinced that’s what she’s rollin’ with, and if the A1200 is only available in China, then certainly that wouldn’t be it.
I’ve laid my eyes on a LOT of different phones over the years, but I have to admit, that photo has me completely stumped.
And chance for a hint on that one?

Re: Katie Holmes.
I really think it is a Blackberry 8700c… It appears she is holding it Face Down (Screen and Keyboard towards the palm of her hand) and the speaker of the speakerphone is pointed towards her body.
If I had photoshop, I could increase the Contrast to make out the Jog Dial on the Side facing the Picture.

I’m with Orion (on a lotta blackberries out there and that Katie looks like she is holding a Blackberry).
Lotta Blackberries being used by Celebrities (they gotta keep in touch via email) and I think that includes Katie Holmes.
If Katie is really using a Motorola Ming/A1200, I will eat my Shorts! 8-0
I did a Google and found this Video of a Demo of the Motorola Ming and comparing the video to the picture, I have a difficult time thinking that Katie is holding a Ming (Size and Thickness in relation to her hand and Sunglasses).

Additionally, Katie Holmes is a Hollywood Actor (not a Geek Diva like Dame Judie/Snow White) and I would find it hard to believe that:
a) she is using a bleeding edge phone with no Official Support from a Cell Phone Provider
b) she is geek enough to used that bleeding edge for Email when all her peers have blackberries 8-).
I am tempted to do one of the following:
-Find a Computer with Photoshop to do some digital enhancement
-take a picture of my Blackberry in the position I believe it to be (facedown)
However, I have spent way too much time on this game now and don’t really need the Gadgets/Bags as I have way too many already (i.e. Several Timbuk2 bags of different colors for my different moods/work environments).

Honestly, I thought Katie might be carrying a Helio, since Tom is reported to have invested in the company…but it obviously wasn’t one of their current models.
Then I thought it might be a Sidekick III, but eric was positive.

That was a HARD ONE – the judges couldn’t even agree!
