I wanted a fun, not too fussy and easy to recognize logo – and I think I got one.

I mean…it’s a gear…on a diary…no doubt it’s Gear Diary! Ha!

I agree that Dooce has a gorgeous header / banner, though! <img

I would look for another diary -- this looks a little too "stock" for a leading edge website; like something you would get from Microsoft Word ClipArt.
Of course this might be better directed to the logo Dude but it's important to integrate the logo with the rest of the website. An example of what I like in a banner: www.dooce.com
Anyway, I like the overall site so you could not change anything and I'll still come visit -- 'cause I come here for Judie!

I like the gears – green is OK but not what I would have picked; however, I know how to follow orders from the boss… <img

The first thing I add to my Adblock's rules is to block every image with 'banner' in its name from loading. This is to avoid seeing those often annoying advertisement banners. This same rule is also included in Adblock Plus default rule set so I guess I'm not the only reader whose Firefox won't load your wonderful logo at all.

I was wondering why I can’t see the Gear Diary logo until you told name.
