“Phatware Goes Gangsta” Contest on GGM

Posted on 01 November 2006 by

Jenneth has a creative contest going on at Girls Gone Mobile

“To win, all you need to do is create a gangsta-themed drawing (interpret that as you will – Bugsy Malone and Tupac Shakur count equally!) using PhatPad and submit it as a comment below by saving the file as a JPEG. You’ll need to host the image somewhere else and link to it using an IMG tag. If you don’t know how to do this, email the image to me (jenneth at gmail dot com) and I’ll upload it for you.

First prize is the Premium PhatWare Prize Pack (don’t you love aliteration?) worth US$74.85: this consists of Calligrapher 8, PhatNotes 4 Professional Edition and PhatPad 3.

Two runners up get their choice of any PhatWare program.”

When you see Jenneth’s artistic rendering effort here, you’ll probably understand why I’ve had the Oscar winning theme song from Hustle & Flow in my head all morning! ;-)

You can enter the contest here.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
