I think you missed something.

Spb insight can download the whole article to your computer, so that you can read it and see the images offline.

But for newsbreak, you can only get the headline locally, and have to click on the link and open the web browser to read the whole thing.

On the other hand, newsbreak is quicker and more robust. It’s a polished product anyway.

Hey now, no need to get tetchy; I never said I didn’t like the pig. (Although I don’t understand what a small green pig has to do with Akhibara. But I digress.) I only said I don’t like the pig *inserted into the RSS feed*. That’s all. The pig is fine. The pig is good. I can hang with the pig.

I mean, you could have used andouillette, or something, you know? [laughter]

G-A; if all sites provided their feed information the same way, I think you could probably be happy. Or happier, anyway. But alas, the aggregator software can’t overcome the fact that, for example, Newsweek Magazine only includes the story headlines, while Judie (thanks, Judie!) includes the full stories in her feeds.

For me personally, the very fact that I am able to read a bunch of my favorite web sites in a consistent font size without lots of click-through–Endgadget, Gear Diary, Washington Post, Carrypad, to name a few–is a huge win. A few aren’t cooperative, and I have to click through to them, yes; but I’ve just started taking those off my aggregator list entirely, and have gone back to only viewing them on my PC. But that’s just one man’s opinion.

(I also notice that Akihabara News somehow manages to insert its green pig logo into the RSS feed, slowing down my download time considerably. Bad boy! Bad G-A! No biscuit for you, sir! Tres grave, monsieur! C’est vas mal!)

I have tested all of them, and honestly speaking none of them really worth for me. In Fact I tried almost everything possible on the market and no… I am still not happy… Lately I am using Newsgator on my Hermes, MTeor (I love this device) and PC… well I am still not happy with Newsgator since the navigation between feed is a pain in the XXX but at least all my Feeds are Up to date on any of me device….
Anyway thank you Miss Gear Dairy to share your experience to us !
