Maybe they should take the black model and put a gold lid on it in the TOS fashion. LOL.

Huh? “Star Trek”??? How did they name it that? Is Paramount getting a cut of the profits?<br

Only recently has San Angelo even begun to get great coverage by multiple carriers, so I am enjoying it for all it's worth. :-P

Lex, I totally appreciate what you are going through because it used to be just as lame here in my town. They've just started carrying PDA phones and the Treo 650 and PPC6700 are the only two. We wait. I really like it a <strong>lot</strong>! Would it be my main PDA? No. But it is a device I could walk out of the house with, confident that my schedule & contacts were all intact and up to date. So far I have nothing but good to say about it!
Sarah is feeling better, thank you for asking! Her allergies really worked her over today. :-(
Mitchell, they are coming from various device faeries all over the country! ;-) Ha! Some I am buying (Palm 700wx -which is arriving tomorrow!!), some I bought but will most likely return (iPAQ 5915), others are on loan (Palm 700p), and the Star Trek (<em>love that name, too!</em>) was a very sweet gift from a good buddy. :-D

Chris, from playing with the Star Trek today, I think this would be the perfect solution for someone that wants a way smarter than average phone. The 700p I just received is a loaner from Sprint, and they sent it to me with service. The 700wx I bought, so I will transfer my Sprint service directly to it. The Q I reviewed last week was on someone else's Verizon account, so I couldn't wreak any havoc with it.
Who is your service through? CDMA carriers are usually the biggest pains, I think - since you have to actually transfer service and activate the phone. I am waiting for the day when CDMA uses a SIM card, too. :-P

As long as the device is unlocked (which all of the GSM devices I review are), I can plug my T-Mobile SIM in and everything works perfectly.

The 700p I just received is a loaner from Sprint, and they sent it to me with service. The Star Trek is one great looking smartphone (although I have to say I prefer black :D). I would love to be able to say to someone when they ask:
Them: What phone is that?
Me: The Star Trek
Them: Your kidding?
I love Star Trek :D :D :D

Hey Judie, how on earth are you getting all these cool devices????

The Star Trek is one great looking smartphone (although I have to say I prefer black <img
