Gift Suggestion #1: For Your Little Princess

Posted on 11 November 2006 by

The holidays are coming and sometimes we need to be reminded about things which are available that don’t necessarily involve circuit boards or batteries. Well, I am here to help. ;-)

When Sarah was knee high to a grasshopper her favorite thing in the world was dressing up like a princess, and one of her favorite props was a ballerina’s tutu. Trust me on this: little girls love dressing up, and they love tutus.

My sorority sister Amy Braden has been making tutus for the past year and she really has a talent for it.

It all started with a tutu for her daughter Page’s birthday, and the tutu-making business grew from there. Amy’s tutus are currently sold at a local San Angelo store, and she is now taking custom orders for the upcoming holiday season.

The pictures shown here are of Amy’s most popular designs, modeled by her daughter Page (of course!). If you have another color or embellishment in mind, then talk to her about it - Amy loves taking custom orders.

The tutus are perfect for every Princess and they make great gifts; I ordered one for each of my neices! Good thing they are still too young to read this site. ;-)

The price for one tutu is $30.00 + S&H and it will be delivered within 2 weeks from its order date. If you have a little princess of your own, then you can order her a custom tutu by contacting Amy directly.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
