Today Gear Diary is officially launching our new store where you’ll find thousands of the best-quality software products and accessories for Palm and Windows Mobile Pocket PC devices. The store is powered by MobiHand, a leader in mobile content solutions. The new Gear Diary store makes it easy to discover, try, and buy mobile products.

View our best sellers list to see what titles and accessories are popular in the Gear Diary community. The store also offers “Countdown Specials” – deep discounts on limited quantities of popular software titles offered directly by the developer. These specials change often so remember to check back frequently.

Trying products is simplified by delivering them directly to your mobile device through a download link sent via SMS or mobile email message. Subscribe to the store RSS feeds to stay on top of software specials, new releases, and product updates. Be sure to join the store newsletter list to receive notifications of special offers.

To celebrate the grand-opening of the new store, we’re offering a 20% discount on all software from now until December 10th. Just enter coupon code GEAR20 when you checkout.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
