My Tapwave Zodiac is black. (On the other hand, my favorite Swiss Army Knife is red; a foolish consistency is the hobgobin of little minds!) I know it adds bulk, and the whole idea of the shuffle 2 is that it's small, but another proprietary connector? Couldn't they have at least used a mini-usb jack?
