iSkin adds Eclipse and Ghost Keyboard Protectors to its ProTouch Family

Precision-molded and form-fitting protection for the latest in Apple technology

Toronto, Canada — November 22nd, 2006 – iSkin Inc., today announced two new additions to its ProTouch line of keyboard protectors for the Apple MacBook TM, MacBook Pro and Apple Keyboard/ Wireless Keyboard. The new protectors come in either solid black with printed characters or a phosphorescent opaque white that glows blue in the dark with printed characters.

The new protectors are constructed with quality, premium-grade silicones that are both durable and long lasting. They are specially coated to allow for swift typing without compromising the tactile feel of the keyboard while providing a normal typing experience.

ProTouch keyboard protectors from iSkin are designed to protect against key wear, spills, food and other particles from entering through the keyboard and causing harm to the keyboard and computer. They also help dampen keystrokes resulting in quieter typing — ideal for educational, corporate and home environments.

The new black (Eclipse) and white (Ghost) ProTouch keyboard protectors will be available for sale at iSkin.com on November 24th, 2006 and will regularly retail starting at $24.99 USD. As a special introductory offer, the Eclipse protectors for MacBook, MacBook Pro, and Apple Keyboard and Wireless Keyboard will be available on “Black Friday”, November 24th, 2006 for $19.99 USD while quantities last.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford

They look good, but I wonder how they feel. May be great for protecting your keyboard, but your keyboard is no use if it is uncomfortable to use!

I work on laptop computers that are used as crumb catchers and yes, it is gross. One laptop had enough crumbs to form a new cookie or cracker :S
