Late last week the mailman brought me a particularly special delivery…
…a custom order Vaja Messenger Bag!
The yummy smell emanating from the box as I opened it was indescribable…
Mine is the 15″ Wide Messenger in Caterina Ruby Wine with Caterina Birch trim and a Latte strap, as seen here.

It includes a matching 15″ leather laptop sleeve, a large interior pocket, an interior metal hook and the Gear Diary logos both inside the bag and inside the laptop sleeve.
Here is a shot of the interior and the laptop sleeve. It looks deceptively small - remember that this bag is pretty big:
External size: Internal size:
W: 15,3″ / 39 cm W: 14,5″ / 37 cm
H: 12,2″ / 31 cm H: 10,2″ / 26 cm
D: 5,1” / 13 cm D: 3.9” / 10 cm
The review will be coming soon - I just wanted to share… ![]()

Those bags are just stunning!! And that cream and red combo goes very well together.

 I love Vaja! When I sold off my old Pocket PC and all the gear I had accumulated for it, the Vaja case was the only thing I kept.

The bag is gorgeous but the price is close to ridiculous. $400 for the bag and almost $200 for the extras? I’m really looking forward for your review to read if it’s really worth the money…

I know, it is very, very ’spensive!
I just moved my gear over to the bag today and have started using it - I’ll be carrying it almost exclusively for several weeks and then I’ll comment on whether or not it is worth the money and how well it holds up. I have a trip to NYC next week, so it will get some travel time in, too.
