…but then I can’t say that I am exactly surprised, since I feel the same way, too! ;-)

Ilium Software’s eWallet 5.0 came out recently, and Clinton has taken it for a serious spin. Included in the review is a complete set-up walk-through that will make even the most hesitant new-comer comfortable with the process.

Clinton says, “The news today is replete with stories of stolen identity and credit card fraud and it can be a daunting task to keep it all secure.  Compounding this problem is the mobility of our world today.  I carry around much of my personal information on my Windows Mobile device so I can access it quickly and easily when I am on the go or traveling.  Having that information secure is of paramount concern in case my device is lost or stolen. My resolution to this problem came a few years ago from the team at Ilium Software in their application eWallet.”

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
