Last time we saw the strangest restaurant. Next we have what I would have to say is the coolest restaurant… a Ninja theme restaurant. Yes, that’s right - Ninja’s!
We all know how cool Ninja’s are, from all the movies and the most famous Ninja of all, Batman (see ‘Batman Begins’, if you dont know)… but I digress.
Back to talking about the restaurant, This special place called Ninja New York is located in lower Manhattan, and it is the sister to the insanely famous Ninja Akasaka restaurant in Japan.

The place is made up to look like the 18th century decor of a Ninja castle, complete with wood, bamboo trim, rock walls, and winding maze like corridors.

Ah, but what is all this about Ninja’s?
Well, the waiters, or rather the server’s and their assistants, are the Ninja’s. Yep, food will be served to you by a Ninja! But that is not all, they also have Ninja magician’s who will entertain you at your table. Btw, watch their video to see what could happen if you do not tip enough.

The food served includes sushi and other cooked food items supposedly based on recipes from a Ninja bible. Judging by the pictures and promo video, the food is arty, top-notch and somewhat expensive too.
Ninja appears to offer a truly unique experience and looks worth a visit. So, if you’ve got an adventurous spirit and a big wallet, you may want to give Ninja a try. And yes, I’m saving up my hard earned dollars for a future journey to Ninja land.

Visit the Ninja New York website, watch the Ninja New York video on YouTube, and see Ninja Akasaka featured on the X-Play Super Happy Funtime Show.

I’ve been to the Tokyo Akasaka branch. Really, it’s quite a nice place to visit – and I don’t think I should tell all of their secrets
Highly recommended is the set menu, which features many surprising dishes (including, yes – soup cooked by a stone, as pictured in the 2nd picture here).
