Posted on 26 January 2007 by

Chris at Mobility Site is giving away an i-mate JAQ3, and to win it – you’ll need to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt…

According to Chris:

I have an i-mate JAQ3 Pocket PC Phone that is going to collect dust unless you take it off my hands. I decided this contest would be a little more of a challange than previous ones. Let’s make it a fun. Let’s do a scavenger hunt.

Here’s the plan. Over the next two weeks I will insert keywords into a post either on Mobility Site or Chris.Leckness.com. The keywords will be in a pink color so that they will be easy to spot. At the end of it all, these keywords will make a sentance. On the last day, Feb. 7th, 2007, I will post the last keyword. The 1st person to make a comment in the comment section of the post that contains the last keyword wins. This comment must have the correct sentance in order to win. The poster of the 1st correct sentance will be the proud owner of an i-mate JAQ3 Pocket PC phone. (If the last post is on Mobility Site, you will have to be a registered forum member to make a comment, hint hint)

There might be 2 words in 1 day and no words for several days. There might be 1 a day, who knows. On Feb. 7th, 2007, a complete sentance will be made from those words. It’s up to you to keep up. This should be easy for some of you that read or subscribe already. If you want to subscribe to the RSS Feeds, here are the links.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
