More Barcelona goodies, this time from i-mate.

So you say you haven’t got enough color in your life, and you’re bored with that silver mobile phone you’ve been sporting? Well step this way…

i mate Color SPLs
Actually, the i-mate Color SPL was already available in black. So…nothing really new to see here, moving right along. And what? No green one? Pffft!

Remember that all pictures are thumbnails and will open as much larger when clicked.

The press release for i-mate’s intended roadmap can be seen here.

SPL 02

You can see the SPL’s specifications here. I am assuming that the color version will not come with a souped up turbo-charger or any other really crazy improvements, but I would love it if i-mate would prove me wrong! :-)

The JAQ3 next to the JAQ4 – this makes the JAQ4 look like a fat boy, doesn’t it? Considering that the JAQ3 is only 2.5″ wide, the JAQ4 probably isn’t all that wide.

JAQ3 02
JAQ3 – yeah, you’ve seen this one before. In fact I just received one last week and will be reviewing it soon.

PDAL – hey, I was actually able to find specifications for this one, but they are underwhelming to say the least. :-(

More coming later…

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
