Say hello to the new Toshiba WM6 Professional (formerly PPC Phone edition) and WM6 Standard (formerly Smartphone).
The silver model is the G900Pro, which has a WVGA screen resolution of 480 x 800, it runs WM6 Pro, and yeah – I want one!
Toshiba G900 MiniSD W-VGA(Wide VGA/480×800) Bluetooth 2MP Camera Finger Print Sensor Quad-band HSDPA 300MHz, Intel PXA270 64 MB RAM, 128 MB ROM
The model on the right is running WM6 Standard (Smartphone). I don’t have it’s official name, but it’s code name was Shark, and the WM6 Pro model was the Orca. Don’t you feel smarter now that you know that?
Added later: the WM6 Standard phone is to be called the RG4-E01 (who names these things?!), information courtesy of Modaco.
Look at the great big lens on the back – it’s all ready for a good scratching and finger rubbing…
I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
