Have been using I-lighter for a few weeks... for work stuff (I teach), for recipes etc... I find it incredibly handy... I use it in firefox, never had a problem (tried in on IE after reading the above post, and it worked great).. It saves to you Ilighter account (you can open on your computer or anywhere... even at work in my case). I have a feeling this will be bought out by one of the browsers and incorporated into it... seems that they are a small company, probably with a little more $/expertise it would take off even more. All id say, is dont give up on it too fast- it really offers a lot of convenience. Wish I had come up with it :>

Suprised to see these posts… Have been using I-lighter for a few weeks… for work stuff (I teach), for recipes etc… I find it incredibly handy… I use it in firefox, never had a problem (tried in on IE after reading the above post, and it worked great).. If you just can't get into OneNote, Evernote or another note-taking application but you do want to snip, clip or save from the web, i-Lighter might be the browser add-on for you. Don't like the fact that you have to "login" to use it. Also slowed my browser down a little.
Uninstalled it after an hour.

I have OneNote, too. There's also a handy Sticky Notes application on my tablet that I can use. :-)

Thanks for being the guinea pig! <img

Failed miserably as far as I am concerned. I-lighting certain passages and then it wouldn't save to where I asked it to. Where did it save to? Your guess is as good as mine. Then, IE froze up every other times I used it. I uninstalled within 15 minutes.
Sorry!
By the way - using Windows XP with IE 6

Just gave her the old 15 minute try. Failed miserably as far as I am concerned. And for stuff I want to keep and highlight, I highlight it in OneNote. ;)
But this has my setup beat price-wise.

I currently use OneNote for stuff I want to keep, and Highlighter 0.1.4 in Firefox for highlighting stuff in Firefox. And for stuff I want to keep and highlight, I highlight it in OneNote. <img
