Yada, from the Palm is Life forum, has posted his full review of the Targus Overnighter Travel Case. Yeah, I know – everything is in Chinese, but his excellent pictures say everything that needs to be said.

This is one of the best looking roller bags I have ever seen, never mind the fact that it is also designed to accomodate up to a 15.4″ laptop. According to the Targus site:

The Targus Travel Overnighter Notebook Case is the perfect case for the frequent traveler. This case, which fits notebooks with up to 15.4” screens, includes a removable slipcase to transport your notebook to meetings and fashionable red lining to easily locate items.

Keep your overnight items discreet during the day with the convenient clothing cover and travel smoothly with inline skate wheels and a telescoping trolley handle. Packed with features, this case includes a front pocket workstation, retractable document holder, removable cell phone/PDA cases, key clip and business card holder.

Designed with handles on three sides of the case for easy lifting, the Targus Travel Overnighter Notebook Case fits easily into an overhead bin making this case the ultimate travel companion.

It might just be the perfect combination gear and clothing carrier; take a look and see if you agree.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford

I got a nice, big Targus notebook bag cheap during one of Dell’s Days of Deals. But several months later, I noticed it doesn’t have any means to lock the notebook compartment.

    Thanks for the review!
My wife goes on a lot of business trips and the one thing she hates is having to carry 2 things: 3 if you count her purse. So something like this would be perfect for her.
