Nokia N800 Internet Tablet & Rhapsody Music Service

Bob Russell from MobileRead Networks just sent an email which I thought would be fun to share…

nokia rhapsody

In it Bob wrote, “I thought you might be interested to know that Rhapsody music service sent me an email ad that highlighted a Nokia N800 Internet Tablet right at the top, front and center. The picture is a link takes you to the Nokia site with a nice ad that claims you get the full Rhapsody experience while connected. I get that with Comcast broadband service, and I have to say it’s really nice.”

Anyway, it’s always exciting to me to see compelling reasons for the public to consider adoption of the various gadgets that you and I love so much. It’s pretty cool to be riding the wave as it moves towards the general public, just like I sort of got to ride the wave before several times as a fanatic with computers, PCs, PDAs, etc Now we have UMPCs and Tablets, e-books, and so much more coming around the corner. What a great time we live in!

I have to agree with Bob; this is definitely a great time to live in for all gadget lovers. I can only imagine how great things will get in the next five years, too! ;-)

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
