And no the N1 only supports the 2.4Ghz bands (b/g/n) not the 802.11a 5Ghz.

haha yeah, and why with every router I have had I just pulled the plug to reset <img

That's why I have my router (a Linksys WRT55AG) plugged in to a conveniently-located powerbar. ;)
Btw, does the N1 not work with 802.11a?

“Yeah that works fine, but its just a pain in the butt to get that little button <img

I haven’t really had much trouble with Belkin stuff up until the N1. "Along with the N1 Router I received, Belkin sent their N1 ExpressCard which my dad has been using on his Dell XPS M1210 laptop."
My XPS M1210 has .N built in. How old is your dad's?
"I was very disappointed with my results however. At best I saw a marginal increase in speed using the N1 ExpressCard on my dads laptop."
"Things were considerably worse when I connected up my MacBook Pro. I simply could not get any networking to work properly when connected to the router over 802.11n."
Jason Dunn had <a href="http://www.jasondunn.com/?s=belkin" rel="nofollow">similar experiences with Belkin products</a>.
