Sure today is tax day here in the states and most of us are hopeful that Uncle Sam will either be generous or show a little mercy! But on this day � April 17 � we can set aside the calculator and take a minute to quote:

Miss Judie turns� (I forget) today!

Most of us have never met Judie personally, but in the many emails and IM�s between us when the writing team discuss the latest gadgets, or consider the editorial articles and reviews, Judie has got to be one of the most generous souls around. Giving of her time, advice and humor, the girl just wants to have some fun. Judie breaths life, is quick to reply to emails with the smileys, tons of thanks and exclamation points� and she means every word of it. It�s not often that one meets a cowhand / night owl / gear aficionado / writer, but with Judie, she is the real full meal deal.
