Pages In, Pages Out, Pages In

Posted on 24 April 2007 by

I just got in my mail, two free sample pages from the new Slappa d2i Case line.

Slappa d2i pages

d2i is a revolutionary design that allows you to remove the CD/DVD disc pages from one case and transfer them to another case. It is all done with their new patented “Flex-Rail” technology. The pages have plastic rails which allow them to be removed from the case and also joined at the edge with another page ( see the demo animation here).

The d2i pages are a evolution of the original Slappa d2 CD/DVD case pages that have a soft fabric material backing to prevent scratches to discs stored in the pockets. In keeping with the original design, the pages will hold 2 discs on each side or 1 disc and 1 CD insert/booklet on each side.  The “Flex-Rail” design looks like a very cool idea. I have a few d2 series Slappa cases and getting them organized just right for me, means moving the discs out of and into other pockets… so with “Flex-Rail” there will be less touching of discs when moving them around. If you are always moving your CD’s  or DVD’s around… the d2i system could be just the thing for you.
