One of the biggest movies coming out this summer will no doubt be Spider-Man 3, and Kat from Proporta wrote today to let us know about how her company is getting in on the excitement. She says, “Letting you know today about a little project that Proporta is involved in – as I wanted to make you aware that we are more than just a dot com. Please see below about a project that we have teamed up with Sony on – for the Spiderman 3 launch.”

The gist is that Proporta has created a set of Spider-Man themed skins for the new Sony NW-A800. You know, I am not normally a fan of these silicone cases (because I think they feel like doll skin to me - don’t ask!), but these Spider-Man themed ones actually look pretty cool.

According to the release, these “cases will be used as free giveaways with any Sony Video Walkman, and some are being used solely for sales made this weekend at the Spiderman 3 film launch weekend.” So it looks like they may be collectors items and perhaps somewhat rare. Proporta teams up with Sony

To mark the release of the latest Spiderman movie by Sony Pictures, Proporta has teamed up with Sony by producing a promotional case to coincide with the launch.

The soundtrack to Spiderman 3 is packed with class acts such as The Killers, Snowpatrol and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs which can all be downloaded onto your new Sony NW-A800 – the latest offering from Sony’s MP3 player range. Sony chose Proporta to design and create a Spiderman themed silicone case, because they wanted a high quality product and subtle branding to promote their new release.
