Well it would be lovely if that were the case, but evidently it is not. Chris Leckness has posted a pictorial showing why the two similarly sized Treos can’t share a battery…and it’s really too bad, because the battery in the 755 (Palm OS) is 400mAh larger than the 750’s (WM5 OS).
Hmmm…conspiracy? Maybe!
According to Chris, “The Treo 750’s stock batter is 1200mah and the 755p’s is 1600mah and they both are 3.7v, so I decided to try. It works, the pins line up, the unit powers on, but you can’t put the cover on. I am sure someone could come up with some sort of hack to the casing to allow this, but I don’t wanna damage my devices.”
He’s also posted a great video of his Treo 755p unboxing with impressions…

I don’t suppose it’s a simple a solution as removing the chunk of foam that’s stuck to the inside of the battery cover on the 750. The manufacturers tend to make this kind of thing difficult for the non-diy type.
