LG’s Prada Phone Unboxed

Posted on 21 May 2007 by

Well, now my day is complete! I have been able to add a dashing accent to the mental image I had already formed of my friend, SlashGear‘s Chris Davies.

What’s the occasion? His unboxing of the LG Prada Phone, of course!

Watch for swank packaging, lots of accessories, and a huge touch-screen phone that Chris never even turns on…tease! :-P

The best line: “In here…hoping it’s a Prada suit…but no. It’s a standard USB cable…” heh!

Watch Chris perform the complete unboxing here.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford

Eek, you can see my crazy hitch-hiker’s thumb in the second photo!

There’ll definitely be video of the phone in action in my review later this week…

Looking forward to that video, too! :-)

That was fun! My favorite part is when he peels the plastic off… ooooh!

Looks like a slick little “fashionable” phone. I like the idea of having the music control part separate so the phone is smaller when you’re not using it.
