If you’re a rabid Lost fan like myself, then you’ll also be freaking out over the revelations of the last episode. I for one am hoping that this is the last season of the show – I just can’t handle the suspense any more!
That said, I’ll be sad to say goodbye to all the characters in the show. So it’s a good thing that I’ve now got them immortalised on my iPod with the new ‘Lost’ game: a simple RPG that uses the same characters and plot lines of the show. I’ve only played a couple of minutes of the game, but it seems fun, making good use of the iPod’s clickwheel to guide Jack around the island.

Anyone else have a crack at the game?

Regarding your:

…I guess you didn’t hear the announcement? I was hoping this would be the last season of Lost as well. Don’t want it to get stale, right?
Nope. Announced about 3 weeks ago it’ll run through 2010. =/
From Wikipedia: “On May 6, 2007, it was announced that Lost will continue for a fourth, fifth and sixth year, concluding with the 117th produced episode of the series during the 2009–2010 season. These three final seasons will consist of 16 episodes each, running weekly in the spring— uninterrupted by repeats.”
That means right now we’re halfway done (3 seasons done out of 6).
All the @#$% we’ve gone through? Halfway. Done.
*rolls eyes*
They want to milk it for 6 years? Disappointing, IMO. =/

At least we have *some* idea of the eventual outcome now. That flash-forward yesterday was a nifty twist.

arebelspy: you’re JOKING! Gawd, that really blows! I mean, I love the show and everything, but its story line (the original one, anyway, before they decided to milk the damn thing dry) isn’t really built for an extended show. Grrrr! Typical greedy TV execs.

I read that one wikipedia last week, and I was like HUH?? How on earth are they going to go for about THREE YEARS??

The same way they’ve gone the last three years: making it up as they go along.
I’m with J in that I’d have rather seen it be one more season, since at least that would guarantee us getting whatever answers they have in store for us SOON.

Yeah the latest episode in the USA was REALLY good, and I am looking forward to the next one, but almost all the episodes of season 3 (and most of season 2 as well) just went nowhere, or made even more of a mess of the story.
