Clinton Covers Up With Proporta

Clinton Fitch has just posted his latest review, this time over the Proporta O2 XDA Atom Proporta Aluminum Leather Case & Aluminum Case. Clinton says, “The UK based company Proporta recently sent me two cases to try and review and I must say, I’m quite impressed! Not only are these cases well made but they fit my device – in this case an O2 XDA Atom – perfectly.”

Like all Proporta cases in their Aluminum and Leather series, this case is reinforced with a thin sheet of aluminum to protect the enclosed PDA’s screen from bumps and bruises. If a flip style is not to your liking, then Clinton says there is also “a book style which opens to the side. The only difference beyond the obvious is that the book style does have cutouts on the back for your device’s digital camera (if applicable). The flip style does not as the top would end up covering the camera once it is opened and folded over the back. Proporta offers this case for a wide range of devices and their website is well designed making it easy to find this case and other accessories for your Windows Mobile device.”

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
