I ran across this earlier today and I had to share – and this should make Kerry’s day!
Meet Nathan Sawaya. He is a Lego Artist. He’s not a Lego Builder. He is a Lego Artist. What is the difference you ask? Ah, well take a look at some of his work and you will understand exactly what I mean!
Nathan gave up a law career to become a full time Lego artist and currently has an exhibit of his “brick” work touring the United States, and it is nothing short of impressive.
There is an interview with Nathan and a small gallery of his work over at CNN. Check it out and prepare to be amazed. You’ll never look at a Lego the same!
Clinton is a member of Mobius, a Microsoft MVP in Mobile Devices, and has been writing Windows-based mobile device reviews since 1999. Currently Clinton operates Clinton Fitch (Dot) Com! and HPC:Factor, the later being dedicated to the Handheld PC platform.
By day he is a System Engineering Manager for a leading Voice Over IP Call Center implementer and software company. When not at work or at play you can usually find Clinton watching the latest Formula One (go Kimi!) or MotoGP (go Nicky!) race on SpeedTV.
Thump! OMG, my jaw just fell open! I love seeing things like this, as it is so inspiring – carpentry thrills me, walking on my lunch hour through a nearby museum refreshes my spirit… and seeing this LEGO works of art motivates me to think or do something creative. Thanks for posting this!
