Well after mulling over whether to upgrade to the new MacBook Pro, and chatting to Judie who was very helpful with her “do it do it do it”, I have decided to go for it. I use my MBP for gaming a lot, and while the ATI X1600 is a great card, I am getting into games like Supreme Commander and Company of Heroes which require a bit more ooomph to play at native resolutions. Company of Heroes also supports DX10, and while I was going to buy a new nVidia 8xxx series card (was looking at the 8800GTS) I’ve decided I’d rather forgo the higher power and get the 8600M inside my laptop. I regularly go to LAN parties (bunch of people get together and play multiplayer games) and carrying the MBP is MUCH nicer than lugging a desktop with a 22″ LCD.So my excellent condition MacBook Pro is up for sale on eBay. At only 6 mths old it is in great condition, never dropped, with the only scratches on the battery (oddly the rest of the base is unscathed, must be a different material). Runs great in both Mac OS X 10.4.9 and Windows XP, and the latest version of Boot Camp supports Vista as well.
