So yeah, for those of you shaking your heads&#8230;you haven&#8217;t lived until you&#8217;ve tried it at least once. <img

In Santa Cruz, we didn&#039;t go tubing; the summertime temperature tended to drop into the 50s, rendering such things unnecessary.  Also, you could always surf.  In San Jose, the nearest river (the Guadalupe, which is pronounced gwa-duh-LOOP-eh, you dumb Austinites, *not* gwa-duh-LOOP; yeesh) is not something that you want to expose your naked skin to unless you want to risk mutation.
