I was surfing the Internet last night, trolling for news stories, as I am known to do, when I stumbled upon the latest product from Fun-Stick Products, The Original Poker Chip Customizer, or OPCC as they call it. OPCC is a complete do-it-yourself kit for creating your own custom poker chips.
The Original Poker Chip Customizer lets a user completely design and personalize their poker chips. It appears to work much like a CD labeler, using the included software, simply choose design your label, then print it on the supplied high quality chip labels. Slide a poker chip into the labeling tool, and voila, instant and custom poker chips. It’s that simple!
For $59.99 customizers get a sleek aluminum case complete with a set of high quality casino weight (11.5g) chips, cards, dice and labeling package. Poker lovers can also buy the labeling package alone to personalize their existing set of chips.
So, by now you are asking yourself, “but does it work as advertised?” I mean, sure this looks cool but will the labels peel off unexpectedly, or will they be difficult to use in the first place? Well, you have questions…we have the answers. Only not right now. But we will soon. I spoke with the makers of the OPCC today and they are going to be sending me my own set to try at my next poker game. I know, this seems unfair. Doug gets to play poker, and Chris had to roll around in poison ivy. But, rumor has it that Chris really enjoyed his romp through the poison ivy, so everyone should be happy. Stay tuned for my review. In the meantime, check out the Original Poker Chip Customizer website for more information.

OK. Well, that is just plain old embarrassing. What can I say? It was a long day. I fixed it in the post.

I’m way too much in “tech writer” mode today.

LOL, Andysocial. Believe it or not, I actually do have a degree in Journalism, and English is my first language.
It is just one of those days…if ya know what I mean.
I promise to do better when I write the actual review.
