Candybar, it is easy to use, and pocket-able, but it must have an easy on/off keypad lock.

I still like Pocket PC Phones (QWERTY) the best (I do enjoy my JAQ3) which is finding more use now that I’ve switched to AT&T - prior I was just using it as a Pocket PC as it had no phone service. Granted they are not as rugged as Smartphones, but with the touchscreen, you can pretty much run anything that Windows Mobile has to offer. With the StyleTap platform - then that means you can run palm as well. If I had to take something that was a phone only, give me a Nokia brick 3300 or so - perfect for all situations and is rugged and can survive falls from off the roof (not that I’m on the roof a lot).

Slide-out keyboard! I own a HTC Wizard and I like the big screen, combined with the “hidden” but accessible full QWERTY keyborad.
If they’d just put the stylus hole in the top instead of at the bottom, the stylus wouldn’t fall out so often! :S
