On the heels of my post the other day about about Camfrog, I received information from Susie of Deafeatures Limited, which hosts a site called VeeSee. VeeSee is a collection of videos, tutorials, community, chat, and news for the deaf community and those interested. There are even tutorials on British Sign Languagefor the hearing, so that they will feel comfortable when meeting and chatting with the deaf.
Among all of the site’s other features, I thought it was pretty cool that VeeSee has started a project to collect the signed phrase “I Love You”in video fromall across the globe. It stands to reason that for every language with a different way of expressing the phrase there would be more than a few different ways to sign it; VeeSee is going to find out.
