In fact, I think that Apple, as well as other companies, may spin off the iPhone video watching as its own separate device (I blather on about that on my own blog here: http://dougs-random-blather.blogspot.com/2007/06/place-shifting.html), partly because of that. I mean, Steve Jobs may feel that "the finger is the ultimate pointing device," but Stevarino, it's not the ultimate *writing* device, ya know? Fingers have oil. Faces have oil. (Especially *mine*.) So yeah, that's definitely one thing I'll be looking at when I test this baby. One of the things we like to do for our Gear Diary readers, right? Lengthy testing!
