Over the last couple of months I have been hooked on YouTube. I visited the web site every day, watched more than 500 videos and even posted my own. On my travels through YouTube, I came across some really awesome videos that I feel Gear Diary readers will enjoy watching. I narrowed them down to a group of twenty and here they are:
“I Love You Cause I Have To”
The girls who post music videos under the username “HoiTahPoiSha,” make some of the best creative videos I have ever seen. The editing and choreography are great!
“Walk the Walk Dance”
YouTuber “aleprechaun,” also known as Emily performs what she calls her “pajama dance” series. She picks the best music to dance to and her dance routines are just simply awesome.
“Power Rangers Techno Remix”
Another awesome music video is created by a group of kids who call themselves “shmovies.” Great editing and simply fun to watch.
“Soundwave: The Touch”
An awesome video from YouTuber “FAYMprod,” in which we get to see the possible come back of one of the popular Transformers from generation one of the 80’s.
“1st.. Lego Mario”
Being a Nintendo fan, I found this enjoyable animated video using LEGOs. The video is created by “PeekvidSimpsons.”
“Nora: The Sequel”
Nora, the piano playing cat came to my attention a few months ago when a friend sent me the link to the first video. I was in awe that a cat could play the piano so well. Now there is sequel video with more footage of Nora’s talent. Posted by YouTuber, “burnellyow.”
“Really expensive cat toy”
When it comes to little kids or pets playing with expensive electronics that tends to make me cringe. But, watch this video created by “pepetopo” several times and you find it funny and cute.
“The killer tortoise”
Who says that nature does not have a sense of humor? Just watch this video by user “salvelio” and see what I mean.
“A Three Hour Tour… The Professor’s Story”
Having grown up watching Gilligan’s Island, I welcome anything funny that is related to the show. This funny video created by YouTuber “kenrg” depicts what really happened on the island.
“The SlapstickStuff SAW Parody”
For those who liked the movie series SAW, this parody video created by YouTuber “slapstickstuff” is hilarious!
“Batman & Robin Episode 1 Part 1″
This tribute video to the 60’s Batman is created by a group of kids under the username “therockbadger.” The video is complete with costumes and campy over the top acting.
“I like awkward looking guys
”
The beautiful and lovely Val of “valsartdiary” who is an artist, she makes some really good videos in which she talks about her art, her reflections, her fun moments. I like her style of video making and her editing is great. Her artwork is also very good. Subscribers to her YouTube channel get a chance every week to win a painting in her “d’Art Lottery,” check out her channel to find out the details.
“Scully as Kim Possible”
YouTuber “kasricha” creates some of the best music videos using scenes from popular tv shows and I think this is the best one yet. OK, I admit it, like many other Geeks out there…. I have the hots for Scully on the X-Files. The expert editing of “kasricha,” makes the music of the cartoon fit with the live action scenes with Scully.
“Chipmunk Christmas – Version Ibrand”
YouTuber “ibrandlilponies,” also known as Rachel, sing a childhood favorite….
“Mythbusters Spoof – Time Travel”
YouTuber “ElSkeptico” created this awesomely cool video as an entry for the “Discovery Channel spoof challenge.” There are great acting, awesome props, and a few surprises.
“Mythbusters Ask A Ninja”
“Ask a Ninja,” who doesn’t know about the Ninja? Anyway, watch the video posted by “DiscoveryNetworks” and see what happens when the Ninja visits Mythbusters, Jamie and Adam.
“The Drunk Knight”
Gee, who would have guessed that Batman was an alcoholic? This is one incredibly funny video created by “CrackerzCheeze.” Be sure to catch the karaoke bit and the appearance of Supergirl.
“Battlestar Office-ica (Now with Cylon Opening)”
Cylons in the office. This awesome video was created by “DementedRiku.”
“Kiwi Mad World Version”
An interesting video edited and posted by “blueinfernodisco,” in which we get to see how a kiwi gets set for flying. For those who do not know, a kiwi is a species of small flightless birds.
