Hey everyone!
Last month, I moved across the planet from Australia to Canada. The fantastic Australian sunlight was replaced by something I was not entirely prepared to find: a cruel and brutal winter in the province of Quebec. I am ill equipped to face the challenge with a small plastic shovel which is starting to break and a spent back from shoveling last night’s arctic onslaught. I was just going to sit down at my desk with a coffee mug and try to get back to work when I saw this through my window…
Winter means WINTER up here. You can spit a little while saying the word; it helps a bit.
Where’s the Tylenol…

Meanwhile, we are expecting a high of 72 F here today…I’ll be running errands in a dress and sandals.
Sorry, I know that was mean.
Tomorrow will be just 45 F, though.

Bjenk: Is that snow bank taller than the car???
Thank goodness that New York City got very little snow this season. But that could change as they are forecasting snow again this coming weekend.
Judie: Really so warm there? I would be careful and bring along a jacket in case it suddenly turns cold. Freakish weather you know.

Allen, I had the top down on my Alfa yesterday - but the day before we had snow! Albeit, it was more of a dusting than a proper snowfall, but still.
There is a saying in West Texas, and it is too true: If you don’t like the weather, then just wait until tomorrow; it’ll change.

Judie: I think they say that everywhere.
Went from no coat to heavy winter coat in 3 days. ICK! WHERE’S SPRING??!?!??

No! I claim it for West Texas!

Judie that was very mean!
Allen, the snow bank is taller than me!
I have heard that saying all the time in Melbourne. The weather there can change so quickly.
I went from normal clothes to wearing a space suit just to go out.
