I'm not above asking them to re-brew. :-) 7-11 and Wawa stores charges $1.20 per 12 oz. on average in my state. That savings tastes great to me. Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks. Plus my co. just issued laptop AirCards, woo hoo.

McDonald’s upgraded their coffee about a year ago and it’s great, as long as the pot hasn’t sat burning all day and you show up for the last 1/2 inch of content. Wayne, I am glad to hear that your service was good; I've noticed that they are even offering samples through the drive-through window, here in San Angelo. Jerry & I got a good laugh the other day because we got a guy that was so absolutely apologetic when J's latte wasn't immediately ready, he was trying to force cookie samples on us. It was a bit over the top, but cute.
We have other places to go for coffee here, some locally owned, but Starbucks is conveniently located, and most importantly - consistently good. I can't say that about the others.
And Joel, did you mean McDonalds has free WiFi? That's not correct, unless some local owner is being an angel:

It looks to be $2.95 / 2 hours.
And I would never, never, never get coffee at a McDonalds. The thought of my latte next to a BigMac just grosses me out. :-P Super Size Me, indeed.

What is up with the Starbucks haterz so early in the morning? <img

My local place I go when I want wifi and good coffee is Cafe Brioso:
http://cafebrioso.com/
Semi famous place too as they were featured on the Minimum Wage episode of Morgan Spurlock's 30 days. His girlfriend (now wife) worked there as her minimum wage job.

Starbucks is ok if the only other choice is McDonalds.
