Refurb 8GB iPhone $249 via AT&T Web Site – No Store Trip Required

Posted on 18 March 2008 by

(3/19/2008 – No longer available at AT&T site) – Refurbished iPhone models have been available for a while. Recently AT&T stores have started selling them for $249 versus the $349 that Apple commands. This morning I noticed AT&T’s online site JUST added the 8GB Refurb iPhone for $249 (2 year contract req’d). Hate waiting in line as much as I do, then check out this deal online.

That is so cheap. My experiences with refurbs has been very good, had a few PDAs and a Dell desktop as refurbs and they were just like new (except for the price tag!).

I’ve experienced the same with refurbs. :-) You might not get the pretty box, but the device will be as good as new.

The only refurbs I shy away from are those with a lot of moving parts. I bought a Roomba off Woot! once that was a refurb and about 10 minutes out of the box it started doing the “circle of death” on the office floor. After that I swore off refurbs that had a lot of moving parts.

Apple has a really good reputation with their refurbs.

Yeah I can understand that. I have actually seen refurbished HDDs, what the hell are you going to trust to one of those!

You can buy this refub iPhone through some cash back website to save even more. For example, I just bought mine from DealDigs.com which is providing $25 cash back right now. So my final cost is just $224. Below is the link:

I’d be cautious on Dealdigs.com — important to note that their site indicates that you must wait 90 days for your rebate.

Yes, I notice that term. But based my experience, ebates and Fatwallet, the two biggest websites there to provide cash back, also needs to wait for at least 90 days. So, I don’t worry about it too muhc.
