A little over a week ago I wrote about the Evernote Beta. The popular application lets you type notes, capture web clippings and read text from pictures. Within the program you can tag your notes and easily search across your entire note database. The beta adds a new interface and support for Windows, Mac and Web (with seamless synchronization to all three platforms). Several people asked how they could get on the beta list. Here’s a link to both the beta version and a FREE full version of existing Evernote 2.2 for Windows.

Oh man…..i hate getting my head turned again about stuff like this. It’s so-o-o attractive, but do i really need another “sometimes useful” application. I’ve got so much money tied up in Phatware—phatnotes, phatpad, etc—do i really want to take up more RAM/ROM. I know, i know, no one’s holding a gun to my head. Just saying, i’m such a junky for applications like this that do so much so well, and then i end up with six of them and don’t want to part with any of them. Such a dilema….*/*

Well there’s always the free basic Evernote, it’s not like you can’t use any functionality of it at all, without paying. So you can try it and uninstall if you don’t like or use it, just like I did the last time it was offered on Giveawayoftheday.com, and just like I’ll probably do again in a few days!
