John Richards, Director of the Windows Live Platform, has announced that “Today Microsoft is announcing some significant developments to the Windows Live platform that demonstrate Microsoft’s commitment to data portability and giving users a choice of how to use and control their information.”
Evidently the first step is to make it easier to add all of your Facebook, Bebo, Hi5, Tagged and LinkedIn contacts to your Messenger list. As much as I like everyone on my social sites, there just aren’t enough hours in the day for everyone I know to start pinging…this could be dangerous…
But if you are looking for an easy way to make an extra personal connection with your contacts, Susan on Mobility Site has written a down and dirty tutorial on making it happen…quickly.
