I was impressed by the Sony QRIO robots in Beck’s “Hell Yes” video, but the new Akazawa PLEN has just taken robotics to a whole new level. According to AC Gears, a site that will have some to sell, his name is PLEN, “which is derived from the English word “Plain”, [as] he is highly adored for sleekness and simplicity.”
PLEN is “a limited edition and only 50 units will be made by Akazawa Japan. Further production depends on demand, making PLEN not only one of the most versatile, but also the rarest on the market.” Watch the video and then I’ll tell you how much this little guy is going to cost…
Isn’t PLEN amazing? He walks, he dances, he even skates for goodness sake! And you can have one for only…

…$2499.00.
See, watch Beck’s “Hell Yes” video, and tell me if the QRIO doesn’t look positively archaic now…although I would still take one.

Just wanted to let you know I received my usb hub and two mice I won from the february giveaways! Thanks you so much
The retractable mini usb cable that goes with the mouse is awesome since pretty much 3/4th of my gadget plug in on that if not more, and the usb hub has already been thoroughly taken over by various usb plugs. There are no words for how amused I was when I realized the mouse has a laser pointer in it! I’m just curious–do you know what the little screen on top of the mouse is for? Is anything supposed to show up in it?
As for the finger-mouse–I was saddened to be unable to point it at my screen (wiimote-style) but it is still quite amusing xD

Yay! Glad you got everything Elodie!
I think that is supposed to be a clock…you might check and see if there is a space for a battery somewhere, as I bet it died.
