Cirque du Soleil’s Kooza opens in Hartford CT on April 1, 2008. If you haven’t been to a Cirque show, you’ll be amazed by the acrobatics and unique acts. Think of Cirque du Soleil as circus for adults. There are no animal acts. Some people bring children - but the audience is primarily adult. This will be the third time that I’ve seen a Cirque show in my town. My interest started when I watched the Varekai documentary on Bravo several years ago. The first year I attended I had lousy seats. The last two years I was front and center - barely an outstretched arm’s length from the stage. I didn’t pay a scalper, or any extra fees. What’s the secret to front row Cirque du Soleil tickets? Keep reading. You’ll be surprised how easy this is.
Here’s the secret to front row seats.
There are two things that will move you to the front of the ticket line.
First, Cirque du Soleil opens up ticket sales first to their Cirque Club members.

Joining the Cirque Club is free. Members receive advance notice of shows in their area. When the notice arrives they provide you with a link to buy tickets. These are prime tickets because they’re being offered first to their club members.
Did I mention membership is free?
(Note: At least once the member’s only ticket buying link has been live in advance of when Cirque said I’d be able to purchase tickets. Try the link as soon as your receive the email.)

If you miss the first announcement that tickets are on sale - you’ll usually have one more chance to buy front row tickets.
For every show that has visited Hartford, they’ve added several additional shows after the original announced tickets have been on sale (and the great seats taken) for several weeks.
My second way of scoring front row tickets?
If you’re patient, eventually this “additional shows” email lands in your email inbox.
Cirque almost always adds additional shows (but only after the initial tickets have been on sale for a while). Because you’ve signed up to be a Cirque club member (free) - you’ll get first notice when these tickets go on sale.
As with the first announcement, I find that Cirque often puts these tickets up online for purchase in advance of their announced “on sale” date. Visit the “Buy” link immediately. If you visit their ticket sight quickly enough, you’ll have your pick of front row Cirque seats.

If you have a chance - be sure to see Cirque du Soleil. Use my tips - and you’ll be right up front for the show!
