One other, more time consuming way to track down Wii's is to call your local stores every few days. The Gamestop by my office (Short Hills, NJ) has a few in stock every week. I just called every other day for a few days and managed to get there the day a shipment arrived. Far more "low tech" but it worked. (Especially since a lot of places get their inventory refresh mid-week, when there's less shopping. So while mid week doesn't stop Amazon from selling out, there's just less bodies in malls and stores on a Wednesday, and so if you catch them the day they arrive you're likely to be successful.) This is the first time I’ve seen a use for twitter!

I love it for following news type feeds. It is interesting to watch some people - especially those with thoughtful periodic updates. I still think it's primarily CB radio for bloggers. I've convinced my sister to join as well as one of my friends. I'll be able to judge a lot better whether it's as useful once/if they start updating. I’m not entirely sold on the concept of Twitter.
