Phonescoop had the best CTIA coverage that I’ve seen. I just noticed they posted a video from the show floor that demonstrates the speed of Sprint’s yet to be launched Q-Chat versus Direct Connect. Q-Chat is Sprint’s replacement for the aging Direct Connect walkie talkie feature made popular by construction crews everywhere. In the age of unlimited voice minute plans and unlimited mobile to mobile – I’m not sure Q-Chat (walkie talkie on phone) isn’t already outdated. Take a look at this video. Kudos to Phonescoop for their ability to capture the show floor action with a video that’s well lit and gets right to the demonstration. PS – Q-Chat requires a Sprint EVDO Rev A signal to work
