I just read this story and felt it was worth sharing with everyone. A man had his heavily modified Skyline GT-R advertised for sale, which was promptly stolen by a teenager with a fake ID who came to take a test drive.
Posting details of the car on an enthusist forum, the thief was tracked down, the car coordined off by forum members cars, and the police called to arrest and charge him with the theft.
It’s a great story showing the power that the internet has these days. It reminds me of the P-P-Powerbook!!!
