My sense of humor tends toward the macabre, it’s a fact. Which is why I had to post about the lamp I just spotted on SlashGear. No, the Colgao lamp isn’t very practical, it doesn’t appear to put out a lot of light, but the dramatic effect is lovely.
The materials used were electric wire and iron which was treated to prevent corrosion. It was created sometime in 2007 but the site does not state how to get a hold of the product or when it might be released.
I want one for my desk!
What other macabre products have caught my eye? Well let me show you a few…
Meet Fred, the toothpick holder; he’s available on Amazon for less than $10.
This would be cute laying on the top of my stove, where I currently keep toothpicks in a boring shaker jar.
I also like the knife set titled “The Ex“. For some reason the knife through the head looks the most painful…
I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
