AMC Theatres Summer Movie Camp – Only $ 1

Do you spend portions of the summer wondering how to entertain your kids? Check out the AMC theater site. Beginning June 25th and running through August 6 they’ll feature a new movie each Wednesday at 10am. Admission is only $1 and proceeds go to charity. Keep reading for the schedule and link to the theatre site.

Here’s the schedule of summer movies at AMC theater’s. Unfortunately the promotional pricing only occurs on Wednesdays at 10am.

June 25: Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium
July 2: The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep
July 9: Alvin & The Chipmunks
July 16: Shrek The Third
July 23: Bee Movie
July 30: Surf’s Up
August 6: TMNT

    Good deal. The little secret is they really aren’t giving anything away. They pay a very low cost as these movies are already on DVD, and they clean up on the concessions. Somehow I don’t think the concession sales are going to charity.

    Have to say I have seen both Shrek the Third and Alvin and The Chipmunks. In fact, I own both on DVD.

    It might be cool, but I do see spending lots of money on crap at the snack bar. :P
