If a laptop desk made of gunmetal gray seems a little too utilitarian for you, then allow me to show you the newly colorized Laptop Desk Futura.

I know someone who would absolutely love that Largely Leopard one…
This morning LapWorks finally announced its new line of brightly-colored $49.95 Laptop Desk Futura laptop coolers.
The initial eight colors and patterns include: Deep Red, Bustin’ Blue, Passion Pink, Tempting Teal, Largely Leopard, Desert Camou, Jungle Camou and Red Marble.
Thank you for allowing your readers to help us finalize these initial 8 colors/patterns. Even though TYE DIE did not make the initial list, we would like to provide you with a bright Futura. Please let us know your preference and we will have it on the way.
Highlights of Painted Futura Program:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Customers choose a matte or semi-gloss finish, and black or translucent no-slip rubber pads.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â LapWorks will poll its customers and offer one or more new color or pattern every month throughout 2008.
-           They are affordable because they’re actually printed, using a specialized UV ink-jet printer that applies a heavy coat of industrial-grade ink that hardens when exposed to UV light.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â LapWorks believes it is the first to print a three-dimensional product using this process.
-           The UV-cured ink has a similar hardness to automotive paint, and a final coat of matte or semi-gloss acrylic further protects the colored surface. As you know, the Laptop Desk Futura’s dual-purpose design creates an ergonomically-sound workspace across the lap, and folds into a wedge-shaped stand for use at a desk, while also cooling a notebook computer. It comes standard in ‘gun-metal’ gray for $29.95

Judy,
Does your “girlfriend” want a matte or semi-gloss finish and black or translucent no-skid rubber pads on her Largely Leopard? Let me know.
