Make Your own Senseo or other Single Serve Coffee Pods

Posted on 11 April 2008 by

We’ve been “buzzing” here at GD over Wayne’s Post about the almost free Senseo single serve coffee machine. I have a Black and Decker Home Café and I love it. However the pods are a bit pricey, with 18 coming in around 5 bucks. Granted, the coffee in those pods tastes fine, but then you can’t enjoy one cup of your favorite gourmet coffee…or maybe you can!

I was searching around and found this interesting device on singleservecoffee.com.

Has anyone tried it? I may get one and try it with my Black and Decker – or a Senseo, because I am getting one too! :D

Wow, they are 5 per 18? I never understood why people cared about re-using them in the US. Here in the Netherlands, I buy the pads for 36 for 2 euros. Almost makes up for the ridiculously low prices you all still pay for gas.
