I’ve been using JiveTalk Instant Messenger on my Blackberry 8320 for quite some time. It’s a great replacement for the multiple instant messenger clients that T-Mobile includes. Today JiveTalk have announced alpha testing availability of instant messenger for Windows Mobile 6 Professional. Screen shots and Sign-up link after the break.

Instead of having to start an IM program for Yahoo, and another for GTalk, etc – JiveTalk consolidates all the various instant messenger clients to one interface. Here’s a screen shot from their site that shows the Blackberry client.

Until now their instant messaging solutions were limited to Blackberry and iPhone. Today they opened alpha testing of their newest client for the Windows Mobile platform.

Here’s the opening screen.

It’s worth noting that they’re specific on their site that the release runs only via Windows Mobile 6.x Professional. Early feedback is that it’s a bit raw with scant support for organization of buddies as well as compatibility limited to WM 6 Professional.
Sign up for this alpha test version via the JiveTalk web site.
