The Twitter service has been behaving strangely all weekend. Many updates have only partially been arriving, with most never appearing. In actuality it turns out the feeds are all there, there’s just something screwy with the cache. I just spotted this fix at Mashable.com - to resolve Twitter constipation, follow and then immediately un-follow a new Twitter user. Feel free to use me – http://www.twitter.com/mas90guru – my feelings won’t be hurt. Doing this will restore your Twitter feed to normal operations. Update: This seems to be a temporary fix that catches you up to all your missed “tweets” to the point that you follow/unfollow. After that the problem seems to continue.

blech – still having troubles — doing this fix seems to work temporarily at catching you up with old feeds — but then it falls right back to sporadic updates.
